I aim to help others live healthier lives with modified lifestyle habits. Throughout my lifetime, I have encountered many health challenges, including fibroid tumors, cysts, stomach issues, and too many types of allergies to list, not to mention multiple joint injuries from vehicle accidents. I can't leave out every woman dreaded "M" word, Perimenopause, menopause and now post menopause. What I did not want to do was put a bandage on the problem by taking multiple medications. My struggles led me to embark on a journey of research, learning, applying and testing healthy lifestyle habits that worked for me. For me, the lifestyle modifications needed to be simple, inexpensive, and make sense for me, my budget and daily life journey.
I modified my food intake, added needed supplements, and participated in regular physical activity. I have managed to stay free of prescription medications by preventing the onset of chronic diseases (diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, etc.). I call them all the HIGHS. Yet, I am still working on the "M" word daily and making positive progress.
I have used these experiences and knowledge to help others who have been diagnosed as pre-diabetic, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, GERD, IBS, lupus, sarcoidosis, and heart diseases achieve and sustain a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, I empower you to make simple lifestyle habits that are easy to adopt and maintain without extreme diets, expensive products or extreme physical activity. I am convinced that everyone can attain optimal health by making small changes in their daily routine. I am committed to sharing my knowledge and expertise to help others achieve this goal.
